Rice Museum

Rhodochrosite. Weight of this specimen is 70 pounds.
It has 2.5" to 4" rhombohedral crystals and sphalerite, tennatite, tetrahedrite, quartz, fluorite and calcite. Sweet Home Mine, Alma, Colorado

Put on display by Collectors Edge of Colorado. Rumor price for the "Empress" $1.8 million dollars and the "Emperor" could be worth $15 million dollars but will be returning to China.

Latrobe nugget

The Latrobe nugget is one of the largest groups of gold crystals known.The nugget weighs 717 grams. It was found at Mount McIvor, Victoria, Australia. In the British Museum of Natural History.
